You Survived the Most Depressing Day of the Year

I am sure we all know what Black Friday is, although I personally have never experienced it (I know, shocking for someone who likes to shop.) Well, yesterday was certainly Martin Luther King Jr. Day,- I am so grateful that Martin Luther King Jr. had a dream so I could have a day off -  but it has also been deemed Blue Monday. Why? A combination of wintry weather, failed New Years' resolutions, and oh yes, credit card bills all seem to arrive simultaneously to create an even harder back to work Monday. I, personally, am recoving from an operation, and can not talk for more than three minutes at a time without 1) intense soreness and pain, and 2) a whopping headache..... so I sloughed myself off the couch and decided to check in with the world via facebook, blogs, and emails, because for someone who had the gift of gab, I find my vocal limitation...well, depressing.  But not to fear I am feeling much better already; just this little posting is helping to lift my spirits.  

Wheeww. That wore me out, I don't have any more energy, that is all for now.
